Drinking ensures that your body has enough moisture to make sure that the most important body processes can take place. But just as with all foods, a lot of water can cause damage to your body. So keep it healthy!
Almost a quart of moisture enters your body through your food. Besides that you also need about 6 cups of other moisture. This could be water, but you can also choose to have tea, coffee, dairy products like milk or yogurt, diet sodas and juice.
A lot of beverages have more calories than you would like to add to your daily total, so make sure that you read the labels.
If you like to drink sodas then you would do well to choose diet sodas. These have sweeteners added. Do not use more than 3 glasses of soda (or cans) per day, especially if you use other sweeteners during the day as well. You will go over the healthy amount of these products.
A lot of people do not "like" water. This often happens when they are not used to drinking something that has almost no taste. Their mouth has gotten so used to a constant stimulation that they do not recognize the taste of water anymore. Try to adding some slices of lemon or cucumber to your pitcher of water. It is really good!
